Hong Kong Smoke-free Leading Company Awards

The Smoke-free Leading Company Awards aims to uphold the government’s tobacco control policy by promoting a smoke-free culture as a corporate social responsibility, and recognizing businesses that take leading roles in supporting the policy.

5th Cross Strait Conference


To facilitate effective tobacco control in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, John Tung Foundation, Chinese Association on Tobacco Control, COSH and Macau Smoking Abstention and Good Health Association conduct regular Cross-Strait Conference.
5th Cross-Strait Conference has been taken place in Taipei with 200 delegates from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.



Annual Report 2010-2011 - Highlights


The Hong Kong Council on Smoking and Health (COSH) launched a series of publicity programmes titled “Quit to Win” in following the global trend of smoking cessation promotion, and to implement the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) of the World Health Organization (WHO). To promote the benefits of smoking cessation and reduce smoking prevalence for the establishment of a smoke-free Hong Kong, COSH organized a  smoking cessation contest collaboratively with the School of Nursing and School of Public Health, the University of Hong Kong and Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB).
